Exciting new opportunities with Proforest’s Graduate Trainee Programme

Proforest’s Graduate Trainee Programme aims to establish the next generation of highly-skilled responsible sourcing and production professionals.

Are you ready to take on the world’s environmental and social sustainability issues? Or solve the responsible sourcing and production issues businesses and society face? Proforest’s new graduate trainee programme is looking for motivated, flexible and qualified young professionals with limited practical experience but a high potential to quickly develop the skills required for taking on a leading role in sustainable sourcing and responsible production.

Our Graduate Trainee Programme develops leaders to ensure our continued success as well as the success of our partners and clients. Successful applicants will have a thorough induction into various topics that are essential in the fields of Sustainable Sourcing and Responsible Production such as policy and strategy development, field audits and assessments, community and stakeholder engagement, and many more.

Over a period of 12 months, trainees will have the opportunity to support senior consultants on a range of exciting projects; acquiring professional, methodological and technical skills. On successful completion of our Graduate Trainee Programme, you will be offered a permanent position as Project Manager.

"As a mission-driven organisation, Proforest relies on dedicated and effective staff who care about making sure that what we do is done well. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is watching graduates that join Proforest gradually grow into their role and become the extraordinary professionals we need in the sustainability sector. Over the years most have ended up joining us permanently, while others have moved on to roles in other organisations with similar goals."

- Ruth Nussbaum, Co-founder and director of Proforest.
