Proforest Initiative

The Proforest Initiative was set up in 2010 to make our expertise accessible to sustainability initiatives, government departments, and non-governmental and civil society organisations.

What does the Proforest Initiative do?

The Proforest Initiative engages with a wide variety of organisations. Read more about our Engagement Strategy. We deliver our programmes through the Proforest Initiative, financed through grant funding from many organisations including the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) and the Moore Foundation.

How is the Proforest Initiative governed?

The Proforest Initiative is registered as a charity with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (charity number 1137523) and is overseen by an independent board of trustees.
